ProjectWorld
Canada Hears from EnterSource President
June
18, 2001, Vancouver, British Columbia.
EnterSource president and founder, Dave Pabst, today presented to ProjectWorld
Canada, "Swimming in the Resource Pool: Fulfilling Projects with Geographically-Dispersed,
High-Demand People." This presentation discussed how company profitability
in the future will be determined, in part, by skilled people using processes
and management tools to forecast, plan, and manage geographically dispersed,
high-demand resources. Our high tech world demands a systematic approach
to gathering new project concepts and quickly communicating them as project
deployment information to accelerate time-to-market. Speed and communications
will drive the emerging advanced enterprise project manager. Attendees
learned how to integrate the forecast resource "DEMAND" pipe with the
limited "SUPPLY" pool to effectively and efficiently manage projects.

Major
Milestone Achieved in Oracle/Java Resource Management System
March 5, 2001, Warren, New Jersey
EnterSource successfully released an update to the Product Funnel and
Resource Management System it is developing under contract to a Fortune
50 telecommunications client. The system, being developed and deployed
by EnterSource to a global user base, focuses on taking information developed
by the marketing and sales organization in its formative phases and loading
it into a planning database built on Oracle structures and a Java GUI.
This same database, then feeds project and resource planning information
to the proper Deployment teams when the probability of success hits the
trigger point. This highly flexible and scalable system is helping this
large company to improve the method for planning and managing the utilization
of its limited resources.
This recent
release has added extensive new features and wide-ranging enhancements
to existing features. The result has been an extremely stable system that
has registered only one User inquiry in over two weeks of operation, in
an environment of over 500 users.
The Help
Desk manager, an EnterSource team member, reported, "The (EnterSource)
project managers, developers, and testers ought to be congratulated for
doing such a great job. I know there was a substantial amount of new functionality
in that release, and it appears it was remarkably error-free."
Congratulations
to the entire EnterSource team working on this project. We are very proud
of the work you have accomplished, and we look forward to building on
these successes as we grow into the future.
